Where is Shine Away taking place?
Shine Away will be held at nya studios, which is located in the heart of Hollywood, Los Angeles.
ADDRESS: 1520 Wilcox Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028.

TRAVEL & LODGING

Where should I stay?
If you are traveling to Shine Away from out of town, we recommend staying close to the event.

Hotels that are either a short walk or drive to Shine Away include:
Thompson Hollywood (210 ft)
Dream Hollywood (300 ft)
The Godfrey Hotel Hollywood (.3 mi)
W Hollywood (.5 mi)
The Aster (.5 mi)
The Mondrian (2.8 mi)

The Sheraton Universal is 3.5 miles from the venue and will have a Shine Away room block available  on a first come first serve basis.

Which airport should I fly into for Shine Away?
Both the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and the Burbank Airport (BUR) are close to Shine Away. We suggest picking the airport most convenient for you and your travel needs.

How do I get to Shine Away?
We recommend using ride-share (UBER, LYFT, RIALTO) or you can drive.

Will parking be available?
We highly recommend ride-sharing whenever possible. However, there are three self park lots close by for all day access. We suggest utilizing the ArcLight/Cinerama Dome Parking Structure: 1400 Ivar Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90028

GENERAL QUESTIONS

Is food provided?
Complimentary lunch, snacks and refreshments will be available at Shine Away throughout the day.

Will alcohol be served?
There will be alcoholic beverages onsite. No one under the age of 21 will be served alcoholic beverages. Please bring a valid government-issued photo identification, such as a driver’s license or passport, for proof of age. Guests and attendees will be asked to show proof of age.

Is there an age requirement for attending?
The event is designed with adults in mind, but we look forward to welcoming everyone who loves Hello Sunshine! If you are hoping to bring your child, please note that they must be 13 or older and accompanied by an adult.

Will Shine Away be accessible and inclusive?
Yes, all venue entrances, exits and paths will be accessible to people with mobility impairments and additional accommodations are available upon request. We want to ensure that the needs of all those that want to come to Shine Away are accommodated.

Is there a bag policy?
Yes, security will be checking all bags thoroughly, so please plan accordingly and arrive with ample time to check in. To avoid waiting, clear bags will get you in faster.

Health & Safety
We aim to ensure all Shine Away attendees feel secure throughout the event. If you have any concerns about the safety or well-being of yourself or another attendee, please immediately find a Shine Away staffer, or for immediate emergencies, dial 9-1-1. We will have an EMT on site.

How do I purchase a ticket?

Can I buy tickets at the door?
No, they must be purchased ahead of time on our website.

Do you offer a payment plan?
Yes, we do! You can split up your payment into multiple installments by selecting the payment plan option during checkout.

What is the refund policy?
All tickets are non-refundable. Thank you for understanding!

Is there a cut off date to buy my ticket?
Yes, October 1, 2024 (unless we sell out, tickets are limited and on a first come first served basis).

Can I gift a ticket to a friend?
Yes—during checkout, we will ask whether the ticket is for you or if you are purchasing it for someone else. Please be sure to add the ticket recipients full name and email address.

How do I access my ticket(s)?
PDF TICKETS
Download and print your ticket(s) from the PDF(s) attached to your confirmation email, OR display your PDF ticket(s) on your phone upon arriving at the event.

MOBILE TICKETS
1. Download the SquadUP app or visit squadup.com and login with your SquadUP ticket account email address and password. If you do not know your password, click "Forgot Password."

2. Select the event you wish to download your mobile tickets for and click "View Ticket."

3. When viewing the individual ticket, click "download Passbook" (for Apple devices) or click "Download Ticket" (for all other devices). Once saved in your mobile wallet, you will always have easy access to your ticket, even if you do not have cell reception. Below are the legal disclaimers you will find on your ticket upon purchase:

All events, prices, personalities, performances, venues, dates and times are subject to change without notice. All sales are final. This ticket will not be replaced, refunded or exchanged for any reason. Each person must have a ticket for admission. Event organizers reserve the right to refuse admission and to revoke the ticket at any time.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

Event organizers and all their affiliates assume no responsibility and shall have no liability for any injury, damage to or loss to ticket holder’s person or property while on the premises. Holder voluntarily assumes all risks and dangers incidental to the event for which the ticket is issued, whether occurring prior to, during or after the event.

INCLEMENT WEATHER / OTHER LOSS

Event organizers shall have no responsibility, financial or otherwise, for event cancellation or interruption due to inclement weather or other acts beyond its control. Event organizers shall not refund for cancellation due to inclement weather or other acts beyond its control. Event organizers are not responsible for lost or stolen articles at the event.

RIGHT TO USE YOUR NAME, VOICE, IMAGE AND LIKENESS

By using this ticket, holder grants Event Organizers and its affiliates and licensees the irrevocable, transferable, perpetual right and license to publish, print, display, record and use (by photograph, film, tape, aural devices and any other method or device) the Holder’s name, voice, image and likeness while at the Event (the “Recordings”), and use such Recordings for any and all purposes, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES

An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public space where people are present. By attending this event, you expressly agree to comply with any and all rules and safety guidelines put in place by the event organizers, and voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19, waiving all claims and potential claims against the event organizers and their affiliated companies & parties relating to such risks.

Event organizers are NOT requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or negative COVID-19 test to attend the event. This is subject to change based on CDC and government mandates. Ticket holder agrees to abide by health + safety requirements put in place at the event and understands that policies and procedures are subject to change based on government mandates.
